Sound & Performance

Positioned directly after the turbocharger, the downpipe is designed to reduce exhaust restriction where it matters for a tuned turbocharged build. Expect a more pronounced turbo sound and a stronger exhaust note under load, with the final character shaped by your existing rear exhaust. Paired with compatible ECU calibration, the freer-flowing layout supports improved response and increased output. Results vary with engine specification, fuel, tuning, and supporting hardware.

Construction & Included Components

Fitment & Installation

For 2014-2016 Mercedes-Benz W176 A200/A220 1.6T and 2.0T petrol applications. Confirm the engine, build date, drivetrain, and turbo/exhaust connections with BJG before ordering. Not for diesel models, A45 AMG, or the later W177 platform; broader compatibility is not assumed.

Compatible ECU tuning is required. Arrange the correct calibration before installation. Professional installation by a Mercedes-Benz performance specialist is recommended.
